The cause of oxygen deficiency may be due to insufficient light and nutrients, leading to slow plant growth. The photosynthesis process slows down, causing oxygen not to be released into the water, resulting in reduced nitrogen levels.
Additionally, it may be due to the caretaker providing too much CO2 to the tank, reducing oxygen levels to a low point, causing suffocation.
The issue needs to be addressed by adjusting the brightness in the tank. Check the filtration process and clean the filter. Reduce CO2 levels if they are too high, supplement fertilizers, nutrient solutions, and adjust the flow rate.

As mentioned above, the lack of oxygen in the aquascape is partly due to insufficient light.
The cause is that the location of your tank does not have a window. Or you have placed it too deep inside the house, preventing light from reaching it.
To solve this issue, you should move the aquascape to a position where light can reach it. Or if moving is not possible, providing LED lighting (artificial light) for them is also acceptable, but absolutely do not let the tank lack light.

Substrate issues can lead to root rot and plant death.
The cause of this situation is due to the substrate being compacted too tightly. It may also be due to fallen leaves, debris from the water, etc., causing substrate blockage. This creates problems for the substrate, affecting the aquatic life in the tank as well.
To resolve this situation, first, the caretaker should use a specialized spade for aquascaping. Loosen the substrate, filter out the debris causing the blockage. If the situation does not improve, take the tank for maintenance to have professional staff assist you.
