Untouched habitat

A large aquarium layout featuring Untouched habitat, 300L, by Matthias Jesenko. The hardscape focus sits on Middle european basalt.

Read the stone and wood (Middle european basalt) as visual pathways before judging the plant mass. On the plant side, the layout leans toward slow-growing epiphytes with species such as Anubias sp. "Bonsai" — trim in layers so hardscape still breathes. Light ground substrate helps stabilize root-zone nutrition in the early weeks.

ADA Solar RGB (2x) lighting sits at a moderate-to-high technical level for this large aquarium. Canister Filter ADA Super Jet ES-2400 filtration needs enough turnovers without blasting the hardscape; browse matching filters.

Setup notes: This tank went through ups and downs.
