A large aquarium layout featuring Sanctuary (AGA 2023 #656), 270L, by Conrado Bergundo Jr.. The hardscape focus sits on Seiryu rocks.
Read the stone and wood (Seiryu rocks) as visual pathways before judging the plant mass. The plant list (Hygrophila pinnatifida) favors a mixed planting; packing the foreground too dense can make the tank feel heavy. White frosted sticker substrate helps stabilize root-zone nutrition in the early weeks.
1x Week Aqua Pandora 90, 2x Week Aqua Series S lighting sits at a approachable technical level for this large aquarium. Aquael Ultamax 2000 filtration needs enough turnovers without blasting the hardscape; browse matching filters. Low-tech tip: favor slow growers and avoid dense planting if filtration is modest.
Setup notes: It's my first entry using 120cm tank and I can say it's better and fun to scape. I named my masterpiece "Sanctuary" as a Nature Reserve, a safe haven and a home for every living things inside my aquarium.
