A mid-size aquarium layout featuring Standing Still, 155.8L, by James William Beronia. The composition is built around Aquasoil with Sand.
The hardscape with Aquasoil sets the rhythm; planting should support those lines without burying them. On the plant side, the layout leans toward mosses and epiphytes with species such as Coral Moss, Fissidens, Christmas moss — trim in layers so hardscape still breathes. White Oyama Sticker substrate helps stabilize root-zone nutrition in the early weeks.
2 pcs Week aqua z200 pro lighting sits at a approachable technical level for this mid-size aquarium. 1 Tidal 55, 2pcs Canister filter filtration needs enough turnovers without blasting the hardscape; browse matching filters. Low-tech tip: favor slow growers and avoid dense planting if filtration is modest.
With 20 Ember tetra, 40 Galaxy rasbora, 10 Nerite snail, watch bioload: a mid-size aquarium drifts quickly if stocking is heavy.
Setup notes: My layout for this is year is tribute to the Philippines struggles. we are standing still! my inspiration is a photo from Pinterest that caught my eye. this photo is a disaster, dark, black and white and I want to bring it to life. it is a hanging tree but the roots is keeping the tree stand, that is why I call it Standing still, just like me, I never give up. I like to challenge myself by joining international competition like IAPLC and AGA.
