Where the rainbow has fallen

A nano tank layout featuring Where the rainbow has fallen, 30 L (7.9 gal.), Riparium style, by Johan Park. The composition is built around Oak drift wood only.

The hardscape with Oak drift wood only sets the rhythm; planting should support those lines without burying them. About 15 plant species are listed — fine for a multi-layer look, but keep a care log so slower species are not shaded out. Nature farm – Nature sand 'Bright' substrate helps stabilize root-zone nutrition in the early weeks.

Aquas Metal light spot lighting sits at a moderate-to-high technical level for this nano tank. CO₂ (not use CO2) — see our CO₂ systems if you want to clone a similar setup. Bottom sump filtration needs enough turnovers without blasting the hardscape; browse matching filters. On nano tanks, ramp light intensity over the first 2–3 weeks to limit hair algae.

Lighting, filtration, substrate, and plant details sit in the specs table below, or browse more layouts in Riparium.
