The rooted mangrove

A small aquarium layout featuring The rooted mangrove, 75.8L, by Dennis Singh. The composition is built around Black Lava rock.

Read the stone and wood (Black Lava rock) as visual pathways before judging the plant mass. None substrate helps stabilize root-zone nutrition in the early weeks.

Chihiros 80cm wrgb pro 2 lighting sits at a moderate-to-high technical level for this small aquarium. Aquaclear 70 hob filtration needs enough turnovers without blasting the hardscape; browse matching filters.

This tank is 98% algae free with super minimal algae that formed on very little of the gravel and filter waterfall. None forms on the glass whatsoever. I credit this to either temperature or lighting. I did extensive research on panda loaches and what the care requirements are. I havent gotten them to breed yet but that is my main goal. I've read natural hardness is undetectable so both my gh and kh are less than 1. I fertilize via pps pro method on occasion, not consistently. Lights on 8 hrs a day, no co2. High flow aquaclear 70 and chiller is set to 70 degrees farenheit. Carbon is added to filter.Category Sponsor
