Mediterranean Forest

A mid-size aquarium layout featuring Mediterranean Forest, 112 L, by Jose Matías Sánchez Lozano. The composition is built around Seiryu rock with mangrove driftwood.

The hardscape with Seiryu rock sets the rhythm; planting should support those lines without burying them. On the plant side, the layout leans toward mosses and epiphytes with species such as Anubia Nana Bonzai, Weeping Moss, Bucephalandra Kedagang — trim in layers so hardscape still breathes. ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia, Cosmetic white sand. substrate helps stabilize root-zone nutrition in the early weeks.

Chihiros WRGB II 90 lighting sits at a moderate-to-high technical level for this mid-size aquarium. JBL CristalProfi e902 L/H greenline, Eheim Skim 350 (skimmer) filtration needs enough turnovers without blasting the hardscape; browse matching filters.
