Let’s Get Wild

A large aquarium layout featuring Let’s Get Wild, 739.8L, by Abhineet Prakash Anand. Standout plants include Alternanthera, Christmas moss, Java moss.

The plant list (Alternanthera, Christmas moss, Java moss, Riccia fluitans) favors mosses and epiphytes; packing the foreground too dense can make the tank feel heavy. PU foam, Styrofoam, cocopeat, Miscellaneous Indian rocks substrate helps stabilize root-zone nutrition in the early weeks.

DIY lights lighting sits at a approachable technical level for this large aquarium. Overhead sump filter and internal filters for circulation filtration needs enough turnovers without blasting the hardscape; browse matching filters. Low-tech tip: favor slow growers and avoid dense planting if filtration is modest.

This paludarium was created with the inspiration taken fromthe valleys of Uttrakhand in India and the theme is based on rainforest.
The aquascape contains the flow of roots of different plants transforming fromterrestrial area to aquatic area creating an aesthetic detailed view when seen in real life.
The upper (terrestrial) portion is completely based on hydroponics as no soil or growing medium is used. The setup contains two elevated cliffs, the larger one (main) on the left and the smaller one on right and a large
transitional portion in the middle. This setup is now almost 46 months old and counting.Category Sponsors
