A mid-size aquarium layout featuring Al_Umm, 98L, by Muhammad nawawi. The composition is built around Substrat with sand yamaya.
Hardscape (Substrat, sand yamaya, iron stone) forms the skeleton — negative space between wood and stone guides the eye from foreground to depth. The plant list (Moss weping, moss flame, moss fissiden, rotala greend) favors mosses and epiphytes; packing the foreground too dense can make the tank feel heavy. transparent white substrate helps stabilize root-zone nutrition in the early weeks.
Medium, 60 watt lighting sits at a approachable technical level for this mid-size aquarium. Diy canister filtration needs enough turnovers without blasting the hardscape; browse matching filters. Low-tech tip: favor slow growers and avoid dense planting if filtration is modest.
With Amandae tetra, red and yellow shrimp, snail assasin and tanduk.., watch bioload: a mid-size aquarium drifts quickly if stocking is heavy.
Setup notes: Indonesian local aquair substrate, fertilizer from Indonesian aquareset, micro macro… the inspiration for tanks came from his work danang cahyo nugroho but with my own character
