Layout bể lớn Emma’s Underwater Oasis, dung tích 262.3L, thực hiện bởi David Westendorf. Bố cục được dựng quanh Fluorite Substrate kết hợp Dragon Stone.
Hardscape (Fluorite Substrate, Dragon Stone, Driftwood) tạo khung xương — khoảng trống giữa các khối đá/gỗ giúp mắt “đi” từ tiền cảnh vào sâu. Danh sách cây (Bucephalandra, Anubias Nana Petite, Ludwiga Super Red, Utriculuria Graminifolia) cho thấy ưu tiên epiphyte tăng chậm; mật độ quá dày ở tiền cảnh dễ làm bể nhìn “nặng”. Nền Black hỗ trợ ổn định dinh dưỡng vùng rễ trong giai đoạn setup đầu.
Đèn Two (2) Fluval Plant 3.0 LED strips đặt mức kỹ thuật dễ tiếp cận cho bể lớn. Lọc Fluval FX6 cần đủ lưu lượng nhưng không xô đổ hardscape; tham khảo nhóm máy lọc cùng phân khúc. Hướng low-tech: chọn cây chậm và tránh dens quá dày nếu lọc yếu.
Quần thể Giant Danio-5, Celestial Pearl Danio- 10, Green Neon Rasbora-10 nên theo dõi tải sinh học: bể lớn dễ lệch thông số nếu nuôi dày.
Ghi chú từ setup: I decided to build this tank for my daughter when she was about9 months old. She was very interested to look at my existing tank and watching the fish and shrimp always calmed her down. Decided to get a much larger tank for this spot in our house and build dream tank with all kinds of plants and critters for her (and everyone else) to enjoy. Tank itself is from Glasscages, I made the stand (not shown) with my brother and it holds the filtration and equipment behind sliding barn door on one side. The other other half is open for our cable box, etc. I ended up getting seriously injured by table saw (all healed up now) working on the stand so it took lot longer to get this up and running last year then planned.
